How it Works
Those who need to lose weight will shed pounds naturally while enjoying great tasting, easy-to-make recipes.
The program is based on the principle that DIETS DON'T WORK and the only way to be Healthy FOR LIFE is to eat great food that is good for you!
Eating "healthy" doesn't mean giving up foods like cookies and pizza, it just means having the right balance and using the right recipes.
Who can attend?
Each group has its own unique personality and way of doing things, some meet in homes, some in churches or community centers.
In many cities there are groups with a "family focus," groups for "retirees," and groups for "singles."
For those who have children, the focus is on creating healthy meals so that kids will learn to love good food and value their health.
Weekly training and support
Depending on the group, weekly trainings are either presented on DVD during the meeting, or done in advance of the meeting at each participant's convenience (via the Internet) using their home computer.
The emphasis is on learning a new lifestyle, so that everyone, no matter their age, can be healthy and at optimal weight cooking at home and eating out in restaurants. Groups feature supportive training and weekly education on healthy lifestyles that create optimal health. The 4 legs of success (see video at left) are all taught.
What results can I expect?
Much of the information taught in this course is new medical science from the last 15 years. Most people report their "eyes have been opened" by this program.
Using a weight loss curriculum modeled after several clinical trials done following FDA guidelines, participants can expect to lose weight and have more energy. Plus, as was experienced by the participants in independent clinical trials, you can expect to see improvements in blood sugar, insulin sensitivity, triglycerides, cholesterol, and blood pressure levels.
